Plough the soil

Plough the hard soil in me. Rent deep furrows in dry, cracked crust of earth, that sweet waters may flow in to feed the ground below. As yet unearthed but thirsty;unfamiliar to the warmth of lightyet teeming with possibility of life,in its darkness filled with longing.  A stirring beneath the barren barrierthat calls for more,invites plough and shaft to break [...]
